One of the best attended sessions at NTEN's 14NTC was the Data Visualization session. It was not only standing room only, but it also included people sitting on the floor and standing outside the room trying to hear tips and insights about this hot topic.

Once upon a time there was a charity who was a visitor to both the lands of Xero and CiviCRM. This charity liked Xero and wanted contributions created in CiviCRM to be sent to the land of Xero. In the land of Xero these contributions would be called invoices and they would be matched with payments. Upon their return to CiviCRM all would know about their paid status and events would be confirmed and emails would go out and all would be be well.
The French Chamber in the Netherlands provides services to approximately 200 members, from individuals to large corporations, hosts 20 events each year, including one major fundraiser and publishes a quarterly newsletter. The organization is run by a team of five staff members and a board of directors.

Christmas is long over, yet we have a wish: we want to introduce a new field to `civicrm_contribution`, (tentatively) called `sequence_number`. This will give contributions records belonging to a recurring contribution some self-awareness, by recording which installment in the series each contribution record represents.
