Last year we worked together with MAF Norway on the TriggerAction extension to help them with their fundraising donor journeys. They were able to find some initial funding so we developed like mad for a week to be able to start. The TriggerAction extension was a result of that hard work, and MAF Norway presented this at the London CiviCon on 25th September 2014.

After the excitement of CiviCon with new features and extensions being discussed, the Civi Sprinters are hard at work improving and finalising these for release, as well as discussing future plans.

I am Siddharth Gupta, and this post is an update from my last post about civisualize and a small summary of my last three months as a Google Summer of Code student for CiviCRM.
If your organization uses the CiviCase component, we strongly recommend that you do NOT upgrade your site to the 4.5.0 release. We have been alerted to a bug in the upgrade process which may adversely affect custom data, smart groups, and / or report data for existing case types. A fix for this will be included in the next release (4.5.1) which will be available in early October.
We are excited to announce the release of CiviHR 1.4 beta - a version that is all about increased usefulness of existing modules based on feedback from our valued nonprofit partners. The Great Lakes Planetarium Association (GLPA) is an organization dedicated to supporting planetarium professionals. Prior to 2011, our solution for membership management utilized a Microsoft Access database. This proved to be difficult when transitioning from one Membership Chairperson to another, and provided no remote access for other individuals in the organization that needed to know who the current members were.
